I just started a Shopify trial — what should I do first?

Don't try to finish the whole store during the trial — use it to prove the core works. Priorities: add one or two real products with proper photos and descriptions, pick the free Dawn theme and set your logo/colors, and do a test order end to end so you trust checkout. That alone tells you Shopify fits your business.

Skip the rabbit holes (app shopping, endless theme tweaks) until you've committed. Set up payments and a domain when you decide to launch, not before. The trial's job is a confident yes/no, not a finished storefront.
