How many products do I need to launch a Shopify store?

You can launch with very few — even one strong product — and many successful stores do. What matters is that each product page is excellent: clear photos, a description that answers real buyer questions, sensible variants, and trust signals like reviews and shipping info. A focused store with three great products converts better than a sprawling one with fifty thin listings.

A bare store can feel empty, so round it out with solid supporting pages (about, FAQ, shipping/returns) rather than padding the catalog. Add products as you validate demand; don't delay launch to hit an arbitrary count.
